Mend Zanussi DWS939 Door Lock Mechanism

Zanussi DWS939?

The door on my dishwasher keeps opening, does not close well. I am assuming that the lock mechanism needs to be replaced but I cannot see how to remove the control panel fascia, would appreciate any advice. Thank you

Do I need to remove the rotating program knob to do this as I un did the screws and it seems to be only free on the left side where the buttons are and not on the right?

open door and on the back (stainless steel inner door side) you will see the screws to remove front panel and control panel around the edge.2 screws on top edge hold door lock mech in.
