Zanussi washing machine FJ1093 door switch removal?
My washing machine is not working even though there is power to the machine and the mains light is illuminated. The door interlock does not work and I believe the fault lies in the door switch. How do I access the door switch as it appears to be difficult to access
easy to access.remove the plastic band that holds the rubber door seal to the front cabinet.un-hook the rubber gasket from cabinet lip on the door lock side.put your hand in and hold the door lock whilst removing the 2 screws you can see from the front.there might be a pipe attached to the lock,if so just pull it off.disconnect wiring.replace with new door lock in reverse.10 min job.DISCONNECT FROM MAINS FIRST!
