How can I remove a push button PVC window lock?

Thanks for the suggestion Pete. Managed to get a stanley blade in but the locking bar would not move. The locking bar is under the push button and at right angles to the knife blade so isnt really pushing it in the right direction. I have a spare handle so may have to graunch the old one off but I dont want to damage the frame.

slide a fine bladed knife such as a butter knife or BLUNT stanley knife upwards between the handle where the push button is and the handle mount. this should contact the champher on the locking bar and continued pressure should lift the bar clear of its slot allowing you to rotate the handle
