Mend Whirlpool Oven Door

I got my Whirlpool oven door back on, but?

I got my Whirlpool oven door back on following your instructions, but it won't stay down when I open it now. The only place it "locks" and stays is only about 3 inches open.
It had clips on the top of the place where the hinges connect to the stove, but I could not get them back on.
This is one of the self-cleaning models, but I wanted to clean it myself. What a dumb idea!!

Well, I got home from work last night and checked the door and it will stay down. I had not re-checked it after putting the outside glass, handle, and trim pieces back on. The weight of the glass must be enough to keep the door open.
I still don't know how to put the clips back on.
