Mend Kenmore 80 series Washing Machine Drain Repair

How can I fix my Kenmore 80 series washing machine?

It will fill and wash but then it stops and won't drain or rinse or spin unless I turn the dial myself and then it will stay on whatever cycle I turned it to until I turn the dial to the next cycle. What can I do to fix this?

Its the timer motor ...hav same problem here but haven`t be able to find part so doing as you do ....hopefully yours didn`t quit workin as mine did in the fill up mode and overfilled and water everywhere when it over filled !!!
