weslo cadence 850 treadmill wltl55553 when i engage speed control belt moves at normal speed. As long as it is running its fine but when you put weight on the walking surface after 3 to 5 seconds motor begins to lose strenghth and comes to stop. When you get off walking surface speed resumes to normal.

You need to oil the the flat surface of your treadmill every few months thats under the friction belt that you walk/run on.If you dont it will slow down every time you step on it.
Check the owners manual if you need too.
