Indesit K3G21XG oven does not stay on?

indesit oven does not stay on when i use the oven/grill botton on the cooker .Button which works both the oven & grill' if i press and hold the oven & grill button and turn it to the right the the grill works OK. But if i turn it to the left an hold it in and try to light the oven it lights the gas for as long as i hold it in . But as soon as i let go of the button the oven goes out . But if i hold the button it in again it lights the gas then goes out when i let go.

Hi, I have just taken the front off of my cooker where the knobs are and tightend a bolt that is attached to knob that lights oven. Its on the left side of the brass thing that you push in to light it. Sorry it's in such basic terms but I did this and put it back together and now it works!

I have the same cooker and am having the same prob!!! I wonder if it's a fault with this cooker?!!!

Hope you work out how to fix it...I'm thinking we might be having ready meals for xmas! Lol!

I have the same problem. I haven't repaired the oven yet and am no expert on oven repairs. I think the thermocouple needs replacing. Does anyone know how i can get hold of instructions on changing the thermocouple?
