My cars not recognising the door has opened any ideas?
Whenever i open my door on my ford fiesta zetec the interior light does not come on and also the beeper signal to make me aware my lights are still on is also not working, so basically its not reccognising the door is open. Any ideas where it has gone wrong?
It can be a door jam switch if you are lucky but alot of cars
these days the switch is in the door lock actuator that actually keeps the door closed ....meaning you have to pull door panel ect and replace it

it sounds like your light switch in the door jam is not working, pull it out and check the connections.
