replaced thermostat?

replaced thermostat on my renault laguna 1.8 8v and no it is nt running properley touch the throttle and it goes to cut out cant understand why it is doing it

You may have knocked something when re-fitting thermo. Coolant temp switch? Check for loose connectors etc.
