How can I get emulsion paint out of my carpet?

Looking for tips or advice for home remedies for removing emulsion paints from a carpet... Thanks

I used my wallpaper steamer and with a good scrub,it came out right away

it should come of with a good wash. or if it has dried you can give it a light rub with sandpaper or scrape with a blunt knife.
