Motor seems to be running-appears may have paper jam-not sure seems only about 4 sheets stuck-shredding wheels don't turn-won't accept paper to shred. Any suggestions? Have tried reverse-doesn't seem to help. Also have tried pulling out pieces of paper stuck-with some success. Still won't turn or accept paper.
Could be that the fuse has blown out. This happened to the one that my wifes office had. They had bought an extended warranty, and only had it about a week when it stopped working. They called Office Depot and they replaced the shredder and left them the old one. My wife brought it home and thats when I found the blown fuse. Since then it has started making noise and shredding in consistently. I again pulled it apart and have since found that the gears seem to be wearing out. From the reviews that I have read the shredded is nothing more than an expensive paper weight.
