how do you change the resistor for blower switch on a 97 Mondeo?

i need to change the resistor for my blower switch and its not in the Haynes manual, its a 1.8 TD Mondeo Ghia 1997 R

ive had same problem.in the passenger footwell on the right hand side just below glove box.you will see a white plastic rectangle with 4 wires coming out of it.thats the resistor.just 1 screw holds it in place.
