I am having repeated problems with the dryer not actually drying the clothes but making them wetter but the clothes are hot when the drying cycle has finished. Despite numerous attempts by repair men who say there is nothing wrong. Please has anyone any advice?
When Hotpoint first introduce washer dryers this was a pretty common fault but I thought they had cured it. The trouble back then was the condenser was getting clogged with fluff from the clothing (the condenser is the bit the dryer motor is attached too), and the cure was to remove the condenser and thoroughly clean it, but as I say that was then and how the condensers are nowadays I have no idea if this is still the case, but it is a starting point
