Mend Servis Caress 900 Washing Machine Single

How do I connecting my washing machine to a single cold water supply?

I have a Servis Caress 900, it needs hot and cold water inputs but my kitchen only has one cold supply. Can I hook it up to the cold and forget about the hot supply?
Or is that a bad idea?

Very bad idea as only half the machine will work, what you need to do is go to B&Q and purchase a Y connector you will know what it is as it looks like the letter Y you need to connect this if you can to your cold water tap [you might have to use another pipe to do this if it is in a tight corner but then you will need a double male connector also, then connect your two machine pipes to this and it should be fine as the machine heater will take care of heating the water.
