How do I derestrict my gilera dna 50cc motorbike ,Ive had it about 2 weeks now and I was told it has been partly derestriced which I presume it does but I can only go about 43-44 mph in it and I really want to go about 50mph .I am 48 and have had a few bikes in the past so am no boy racer,I just ned to go a bit faster to be safer with the traffic .Can I do this myself or am I better taking it to a garage for them to do it

well my bike i thought it was de restricted and i took the crank case off and the kickstart and there was no washers on the variator so i put the crank case back on and it doesnt go the same cause it goes like mad on the acceleration and has really rubbish speed and i dont know whats wrong any help?

how to do 1 part of it is that u take the air box of at the carb and the copper ring out it will have a few holes in

take crank case off where the kikstart is and the will be 2 wheels in side with a belt the wheel nearest to the front of the bike undo the nut and there will be a washer then place the wheel back on without the washer and ure bike is de rsticted

take out the 2 washers yes 2 washers out of the front pulley/ inbetween the 2 variator faces and cut off the little disruptor pipe and weld over the whole try to cut the pipe off level with the main pipe to achive maximum power and increase your main jet in your carb to a 60
