i have a glow worm boiler that when i turn it up to increase the temperature of the water to the radiators it sounds like a kettle boiling and it hisses loudly. does this mean its on its way out, or is there a simple remedy for this?
Gloworm boilers are renowned for the trade term kettling.Its nothing to worry about just annoying.You could add some descale additive into the small header tank but if the boiler is years old it may not make much difference.t
