Can I paint my cooker?

I have a range cooker, and I have cleaned the oven, and it has marked the silver doors BADLY. Can I paint it with stove paint, or has anyone any other ideas? No I can not get a new one, as much as I would love to at this moment!

Hi Fiona,
Try 'HALFORDS' they stock very high temperature paint for exhausts etc.
I sprayed a gas fire once with it, and it turned out very good, but check on the can first. It comes in spray form and silver is one of the colours they produce, so you might be lucky.
