No hot water but the heating is fine?

I have a Vaillant ecoTEC plus my heating works fine but my hot water is cold I havent changed any settings do you know why?

turn a tap on, does boiler still fire up? do radiators getwarm feel large pipes under boiler...if so then diverter valve is faulty or pcb not sending power to diverter to move it
