Mend Vauxhall Vectra Side Front Passenger

only one of my wipers is working{drivers side}?

i drive a vauxhall vectra.52 reg. the wiper on the front passenger side stopped working.

theres a ball linkage and it comes out .very difficult to get into so what i did was put a cable tie round it and it has worked for the last 2 years

might be fixing nut loose or linkage worn and become detached!
