Zig-zag stopped working - Bernina 827?

Hello Ruth,
Is the needle moving side to side when you select zig zag and not picking up the thread one side causing the machine to do straight stitch, or when you select zig zag the needle does not move side to side, if this is the case it may be a simple case of oiling all moving parts, if the machine needle moves side to side but will not zig zag you may need to retime it, if you e-mail me I can attach timing instructions and sites for manuals.
