Gas back boiler just stopped working all of a sudden ?
The gas system we have doe's require up grading , but has been working efficiently , until today . It just stopped functioning , the gas supply is normal , the pilot light is functioning but no ignition .Its a glow worm majorca two , back boiler , can anyone help .
Open the side door and make sure that the two orange gasvalve wires are still connected to the gasvalve as they can get knocked and come loose.If they are ok then if you have a multi-meter put the prongs across the gasvalve with the boiler in the on position.The majorca 2 has a 24v mcclaren fitted so you should read 24v.If you do get 24v then the gasvalve has gone.If you get nothing,check that the glass fuse leading from one of the wires to the gasvalve hasnt blown
