Why won't our boiler (Worcester Bosch 230) pilot light ignite?
Why won't our boiler (Worcester Bosch 230) pilot light ignite? It was turned off for a few hours for a radiator to be replaced and since then we cannot get the pilot light to ignite. We have followed the instructions in the manual. We can hear pumps working and hot water demand having an effect. All the gas and water inlets appear to be open and there is no problem with gas supply elsewhere in the house.
look through the peep hole at the pilot light, when you turn on the heating can you see a spark jump across to the pilot burner, if you can not see a spark in this area but you can hear a clicking noise the spark is shorting out on the frame of the body so move the lead so it does not lie on metal
