ford mondeo 1997?

A tip given to me by a mechanic was to take out the airfilter element/cartridge replace the lid and run the car around for 1/2 hour from cold before you take it back in. If your e count wasn't high then it MIGHT work. But the choice is yours. Take the chance or renew the parts, which you will have to do sooner or later as it probably won't work next year.
