Mend Aquarius 1200 Fuse Box Blow

Aquarius 1200 washer/dryer?

My washer/dryer has started to trip the fuse on the household fuse box, but doesn't blow the 13A spur fuse on the machine. It appears to be on the spin cycle.
Any ideas what can be causing it?

typical, my Hotpoint WD64 Aquarius 1200 washer dryer is just outside the warranty period and the dryer part of the cycle has failed .. no heat, though there is current into the element.. mounted at the top? Any further help advice to fix this would be appreciated ..
