Mend Yamaha Dragstar 125

where is voltage regulator dragstar 125?

The battery is boiling on my sons Yamaha Dragstar 125 and I suspect it is the voltage regulator. I am unable to find a manual for it and hoped that someone could tell me where to find the regulator and how to replace it.
