Mend Double Window Top Bottom

My double glazed window won't open ?

My bathroom double glazed window doesn't open. When I turn the handle to open the window the top part of the window seems to open OK but the bottom part is not opening. If I push hard the window still does not open. I assume that the bolt at the bottom is not retracting fully or at all?
Any advice please as to how I could fix this?

Yes deglaze and prize open or go in through rear of handle mechanism Glazing rebate side
You may even have to drill a hole in the rebate to get at the back of the mech and force it open

It will most likely be a broken gearbox working one side only
You can pick up a new one from any good supplier of pvc window parts

take glass out of sash use a crowbar on corner and gently lift up while pushing top corner out this may release the bolt
