How do I fix my venetian blind?

The wooden slats have stopped opening and closing fully. Any help?

One of the tilt mechanisms on my 2" wooden venetian blinds is failing.

As per the advice already on this website, I have removed the blind, and checked that the rod is firmly in place. I have also restrung the unit - all to no avail and so I have swapped a unit from a smaller blind which now nicely works the original blind.

My next step is to replace the faulty unit which is now in the small side blind. Unfortunately, the original supplier of the blinds has now completely vanished into thin air and so I am now not even able to invoke my rights under the guarantee that he gave me. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to source a replacement?

Many thanks

Where can I buy a new one? - it is a string pull system, and not wand operated.

Pulley is slipping. Take blind down. The rod that operates the tilt mechanism may have slipped out of the pulley. Slide rod back into pulley mechanism.

if there are three strings the longest is the furthest away from pull side. thread each string along the head bar thread over the ribbed roller in the pull cord area you may have to pull the ribbed roller to the inside of blind to get all strings through check operation before puting up check strings are not caught up

take down blind from window look inside top rail there will be a tilt rod /shaft / make sure that it inserted in tilt mech / if so hold shaft with fingers and turn tilt mech if shaft is not turning you will need new new tilt mech / take broken one out and take to supplier

I accidently pulled the cord that raises and lowers my blind out of the blind. How do I re-string?
