how to fix clio 54 plate automatic light function?

changed front headlight bulbs in renault clio 54plate and now automatic light function doesnt work tried to enable again but had no joy?

got 2 hav them reset by auto electric company about £40 cos the charge u 2 put on diagnostic this stinks but what else can u do had mine dun twice clios r riddeled with electrcal faults had more than my share
