Yes. To do it 'properly' reguires a waterproof connector that costs £30. To do it safely, all you need is a splash-proof mains connector. I have several used ones at £3.50 each. Drop me a line. Please note, however, that it s ILLEGAL to sell a machine with a repaired cable. It must be REPLACED if you sell it (ebay or whatever).
