Probably the easiest way is to insert a timer in series with the room sensor thermostat. Providing the thermostat is 'closed' (ie demanding heat) the timer will then take over control and only allow the ch. to come on when the timer allows. The timer will not get power from the existing circuit so you will have to supply that from a separate source.
