vaillant VCW GB 240 X H combi boiler?

I have a valient combi boiler and want to set up a timer for the central heating at the moment it is completely manual so I want to know how to wire in a timer to make the heating come on and go off seperatly

Probably the easiest way is to insert a timer in series with the room sensor thermostat. Providing the thermostat is 'closed' (ie demanding heat) the timer will then take over control and only allow the ch. to come on when the timer allows. The timer will not get power from the existing circuit so you will have to supply that from a separate source.
