I HAVE A RIDING MOWER, AND THE BLADES WANT STOP TURNING. IT HAS A LEVEL TO PULL BACK BUT THE BLADES BACK TO STOP. BUT IT KEPTS TURNING, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM.

yes, with a pull back level, but the level (manual) wnat stay back for enough to make the blades stop. I have to hold it back to make them stop. But the level seems to be twisting a little, and it looks like it dosent have enough pull back to stop it.

Are the blades engaged by a manual or electric clutch?
