Diplomat aaa1473?

I have had this hob fitted. When you turn it on it does indeed heat a pan of water very quickly. Whilst cooking however it does seem that it heats the food then cools down for a second. Never having had an induction hob before im not sure of how these things work. Do they cook consistantly or is this normal?

Hi Stu, yes they are still operated like the old hobs.the ones with regulators uses energy regulators to cut the power. These use sensors and relays in the pcb otherwise everything would burn too quick. All the best.
the only thing with these hobs is that the pans have to be perfect and induction compatible or they will not work properly or at all in some cases. All the best.
