the conditioner has to be going somewhere. if it isnt going in the drum then it must be going somewhere outside the drum...and if it was you would see a puddle forming beneath the machine and of course you would smell it...so it MUST be going into the drum.
Sounds like the plastic dam has become dislodged and disappeared thru the drum.Try replacing the entire soap drawer.
