Can you fix a Flexible tap connector direct to Isolating Valve?

I am looking to change my toilet shortly. The new toilet would be moved a few inches further to the left of where it is currently located.
Therefore in order to simplify the matter I intend to use a flexible tap connector from the existing pipe work to attach to the water inlet of the cistern.
The question is the existing pipe work has an isolating valve attached. I was wondering if there is any way to attach the flexible tap conntector directly to the the isolating valve, by means of a coupler etc (currently both the isolating valve and tap connector have compression nuts screwing onto each object).
Any Help would be much appreciated.

Yes, usually by using a small piece of pipe between the two items. You will need a new 15mm olive for the existing isolating valve as well.
Other option is to do away with the isolating valve & fit a flexible hose that incorporates an isolating valve.
