Mend Horstmann Channel Plus XL Heating Boiler

how to fix my horstmann channel plus xl?

the heating works downstairs on one channel but does not work upstairs when i press the button for it to do so. the red light comes on though. when i try the upstairs heating on its own it wont even get the boiler going. i would appreciate for any suggestions. thanks..
