how to fit an in -dash dvd player?????

hello all, i recently fitted an indash dvd player in my rover 75, its year is 2000 cdt se,, i cant watch dvds on it though because it says i need to connect the pink parking wire whichs comes out of the rear of the unit to the handbrake wire which lights up the warning light on the dash when hand brake is on, does anyone know how i do this or where the handbrake electrics are located??? ib be much obliged if someone knows how to solve my problem..........
