Toyota Lucida ( desel ) MPV?

I assume it was towed to your house then. Hope the price was right for something not working.
Can't help other than if you don't want to buy a workshop manual phone you local library and ask if they stock vehicle workshop manuals...yes that's right your library. Ours did when I needed one for my caravan and Modeo. diesel systems are much the same and develope the same or similar faults so even if they haven't yours look up any of the books 'starting faults' page/s go through two or three books and compair, take notes on the answers and try em. Air lock is one fault, Upper cylinder heater another [if the later engines need them]
