potterton combi 80 boiler heating comes on and off ?

potterton combi 80 boiler heating comes on and off / pump runs when hot tap is turned on ( its recently had the PCB Modulation board replaced ) has anybody got any idea`s

Hi no dripping tap but the pump runs when hot tap is put on the pump does run the central heating but you can here a bit of water noises and a couple of rads don`t get warm when the boiler stays on for a short time ive been told diverter valve ? or pump ?

Have you got a dripping hot tap which is enough to affect the heating
Could try turning of main stop cock off just in case to prove
