My Kenwood Chef 901 started to smoke then the motor seemed erratic and now it has finally stopped. The brushes seem OK and there is nothing obvious that has burnt out - any clues?
small brown capacitator as you open top over motor with I think 3 wires, connected to ? I had same problem my unit started to smell of burning then increased speed then stopped. Just solder new one, check for burning, cost pennies from any elecrical store . Hope this helps .
