Mend Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 Ignition

How can I fix my Ford Focus Zetec 1.6? Reg - 54?

The ignition on the car is very sluggish and when turning off the engine after a lengthy journey (eg 10 miles) and the engine has had time to heat up it wont start again. It will eventually start if is allowed to cool down for maybe 20 minutes. Water and oil have been checked.

Is there any warning light on? sounds like it could be the coolant temp sensor giving the engine ecu wrong info a quick check from a diagnostic code reader would prove it. Most tyre & exhaust places around £20
