my ml keeps loosing power and has no acceleration as i am driving along.i have to stop for a while and then it will start again

I had the same problems with my mercedes C180. The simple solution was to renew something called the airflow meter if that is the correct term. I was told that if this wasnt replaced it could ruin both the motor and the automatic gears! It is a simple replacement, but the original mercedes part was quite expensive.
