I need to change the carburator?

I have a Poulan 14.5 hp lawn tractor with a Briggs and Stratton engine. I can't find the manual which shows how to change the carburator. I have cleaned it and the mower starts but dies.

Is that an Intek engine? If it is check the fuel pump and all the lines connected to it. A leak in either the in or out fuel line, or the vacuum line will keep the pump from working properly.
