Where can I find a replacement Hitachi kettle anticalc filter ?

My anticalc filter for my Hitachi KET2 kettle has split and Hitachi cannot give me a replacement as Currys imported the kettle themselves

Easy to find a filter on e:bay, but how do they justify £4-£5? And they don't last very long either!

Had the same problem and found (by luck) that a Russell Hobbs filter for their 13775 kettle fits perfectly. You can get them on ebay for about £5.

Hiya I have the same problem cannot find the filter anywhere.... this is not very good since the kettle is a year old.
