Mend Ford MK3 Water Leak Pump Engine

HOW CAN I FIX MY MONDEO MK3?

MY MONDEO MK3 IS LEAKING WATER , IF I GO ON A SHORT JOURNEY, WATER LEAKS, FROM WHAT LOOKS LIKE THE WATER PUMP, BUT WHEN I SWITCH THE ENGINE OFF, AND TOP UP THE WATER RESEVOIR, IT DOES'NT LEAK. ALSO THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE REMAINS NORMAL AT ALL TIME'S. CAN ANYONE HELP!

look under the bonnet near the exhaust manifold is there a metal plate there, in front of that should be a short metal pipe attached to both ends is it corroded replace it ,that could be your problem

Run engine till hot, have a better look at it, it may just be a leaking hose pipe..! or gasket (seal) and if not, the bad news is you may need a new water pump, sorry...!
