I have a set of 5 halogen lights in my kitchen some time ago one of them stopped working, and despite changing the bulb, and swapping bulbs round to check there wasn't a bulb problem it still didn't work. now a second one has stopped working and I have the same problem - there are now two lights not working. Any ideas?
Some transformers for Low voltage lighting have the lamps individually fused you may want to see if yours is one . Turn off the circuit breaker or pull the fuse at the mains first though

Either you have faulty wiring or a dodgy transformer that keeps overheating and shutting off, do they go on and off some times? if they don't then get a sparky to check the wiring and the transformer and the wire go from the transformer to the globe itself
