How can I fix my electrolux RM2260 Gas fridge?

At the back there is a metal shield, remove it.
behind that is the burner - make sure it is clean and clean the flue pipe at the same time.

Thanks Cleddlyn, I have paid the so called professionals three times £60 a go for service and repair and I still have the fault. It seems to run ok for a few weeks after service and then resumes the fumes. The flame tube and vent are clear of debris. Any other fridge vent I have examined does not have the same smokey discharge.

This question should be in the Caravan section.
Fumes are coming into your caravan because the gas flame tube at the back of your fridge, which should discharge out of the flue terminal, is blocked with debris and most if not all of the fumes are backing up and coming out of the bottom of the burner.
These units should be serviced by qualified fitters because it involves the disconnection (and reconnection) of LPG, 240v and 12v connections to get at the parts at the back of the fridge.
This is not a normal D.I.Y. task. Get a professional and the next time you fall asleep in your caravan you can do it with confidence.
