Washing machine, Candy, Activa ACS130, extra spin cycle not working?

The buzzing whirring noise is the motor in the timer moving the water canon for the dispenser drawer. The problem sounds like it could be the program timer or the program module itself faulty. Also its worth checking the pump, as machines don't like going into spin cycle if the pump is slow at emptying the machine.
I am a hoover candy engineer.
