veritas 8 alarm?

all the zone lights are on, on the control panel and the tampered part is lit up nothing happens when we press any button but motion detectors are working what could be wrong

Sounds like a classic case of the circuit board is faulty. The motion detectors are seperate from the alarm panel all they need is 12v to work. Try disconnecting it from the mains and resetting it. But my feeling is its knackered.
