Mend Aquatronic 2 Shower Temperature Thermostat

How can I fix my Aquatronic 2 shower?

The temperature of the water suddenly increases to extremely hot whatever the level of the temperature control knob. The cold water is not being run off at any other point when this happens. Does the thermostat need replacing?

you'll need to check the flow stabiliser is letting the correct amount of water through.
also that the cartrige assembly

just buy a new one. All these cheap showers have about a 5 year life max
