Mend Logic 4 Alarm Open System

Alarm fails to go off if door is left open when leaving?

After switching on my Logic 4 system the buzzer carries on after opening the front door, as it should, and will stop and arm the system when you are outside and shut the door. However if you just go out and leave the door open and the buzzer going it never stops or sets off the alarm. Is this correct ?
